Description: SJCAM SJ5000X is the most popular action cam from the SJCAM manufacturer. The first firmware has a lot of major problems. But after the update, the Gyro performance becomes good, the sound is getting clearer, and it has an increase of bitrates in 4K videos. Although the firmware update has improved several performances, you can see, especially in the Gyro that it’s still unstable and the video that is recorded is a bit shaky. There are also problems about the contrast and saturation in low-light condition videos, making the sky somehow look brighter and the ground seem darker.

Pros

• Sports Gyro Image Stabilization (GIS)
• Able to film on 2K @30FPS & 1080p @60FPS
• Colors quality in videos and images looks vivid and balanced
• Video footage is smooth and has enough details

Cons

• The rate in 4K videos is only @24FPS
• Camera footage on 2K @30FPS is a bit blurry on the ground area
• Videos is still a bit shaky even after Gyro is updated and implemented
• In the low-light condition, the saturation is a bit off (the sky looks brighter and the ground becomes darker)
