Just a month more and you can grab in the long awaited Apple iPhone 8 with your hand. That’s right, Apple’s latest iPhone series will be released on this year’s September 12.
We’ve heard an abundance of rumors about the device before so we know what to expect from it. It’s not a surprise to think that Apple’s iPhone 8 can become the next king in Android market. Read below about the possible design and specs of Apple iPhone 8.
Apple iPhone 8 Design and specification
It has been confirmed that iPhone 8 will follow the bezel-less and full display hype, featuring no physical Home button and no top and bottom bezels aside from a small area for the front-facing camera. Apple will also use the radical redesign, with an edge-to-edge display. There’s a rumor claims that the TouchID will be removed and replaces with facial recognition, however, the giant tech company hasn’t confirmed anything about that matter.
With an edge-to-edge display, there’s a chance that iPhone 8 looks like a 4.7-inch iPhone but with a screen size of the 5.5-inch mobile. Rumor has it that Apple’s latest device will measure a 5.8-inch with a 5.15-inch useable area. The rest of the area will be dedicated for the virtual space, which will replace the Home button.
For the display panel, the company will use the flexible plastic OLED rather than an LCD. By employing the first, Apple can make a thinner device that consumes less power. On top of that, the flexible plastic OLED will also produce a better display with higher contrast ratio and more true to life colors. iPhone 8 will likely feature a slightly curved 2.5D display, similar to iPhone 7’s.
After using an aluminum body to almost its previous iPhone series, Apple will move from that trend and adopts a glass body instead. It seems that the company will build the glass around a polished stainless steel frame. Moreover, Apple’s iPhone newest flagship will also have IP68 or dust and water proof certification.
In term of hardware platform, iPhone 8 will use a 10-nanometer A11 chip that makes the phone to work faster and more power efficient. Because this flagship is considered as a high-end device, you can expect a dual-lens camera, which each supports OIS.
Previous rumor said that Apple would employ a vertical rear camera to improve pictures and better AR functionality, as well as the 3D sensing capabilities and front-facing FaceTime camera. Apple’s iPhone 8 will be coast above $1000 and comes with three different colors of black, gold, and silver.
Besides the iPhone 8, Apple will also unveil two other mobiles such as the 4.7-inch display panel phone and the 5.5-inch display screen device. You should also remember that the use of flexible plastic OLED will make Apple having a supply constraint and therefore, will release their handsets in an availability limit. Although Apple’s newest iPhone series is going to be out in the market soon, not all of the customers can get their hands into it, at least, until the first quarter of 2018.
