Chinese Smartphones—Reasons Why They Are So Cheap Yet powerful

It’s not a surprise that tech enthusiasts nowadays prefer to purchase the Chinese Smartphones like Xiaomi, Huawei, and OnePlus rather than other major mobiles like Apple, Samsung, or Sony. It’s all because of the price of Chinese mobiles are way cheaper yet still boasts powerful chipset. How can the Chinese phone manufacturers manage that and become so popular now? Just scroll down the page and you can read the answer.

Less Marketing and advertising cost (Chinese Smartphones)

Chinese devices have cheaper prices because the total price contains less marketing and advertising cost. That doesn’t mean, however, that the manufacturers don’t promote their products.

When you buy Apple or Samsung’s mobiles, you also pay for the company’s marketing, advertising fee in television, the internet or posters. These costs make the price skyrocketing. In fact, you pay for the company’s brand, too. However, phones from Chinese manufacturers only include the company’s marketing and don’t include those additional costs mentioned above.

Chinese Smartphones

If you buy a Chinese phone in China, you will get a cheaper price because there are many competitors in that country. If the company sells its products at a high price, they will get low profits. Why? it’s because there are many cheap mobiles in China that come from different companies, if they set the price way above the market, people won’t buy their products. That is why the price of a Smartphone in China can be twice cheaper than the price in your country.

Affordable price but has premium hardware

Just because Chinese Smartphones are cheap, you can’t underestimate its powerful hardware. The latest Xiaomi Mi 6 boasts the same SoC as Samsung Galaxy S8 and One Plus is considered as a flagship killer. Both are Chinese mobiles.

The Chinese Android handsets have the same performance as the handsets from major brands like Samsung or Sony because they are manufactured with the same hardware and technology. Those well-known labels are actually buying the components (such as camera, processor, display, etc) for their products in China.

Chinese Smartphones

You can compare the Xiaomi Mi 6 or OnePlus with Android handsets from popular brands. See the review article for Xiaomi Mi 6 and OnePlus here. You will find that the certain aspects of both devices are the same (mostly the camera or processor). They just come with different name, different price, and different features but the technology used is the same.

More and more, Chinese phones look more appealing with its beautiful design. It also good for processing data and has the premium touch. Actually, we can say that Chinese mobiles are much better than other Smartphones from famous brands for they offer better technology for a lower price.

Chinese devices sometimes also sport unique and outstanding features that other Smartphones don’t have. Some of them have employed an AI into their Android handsets like Xiaomi with its Mi2.

If you think Chinese gadgets are bad, well, think again. The Android market has changed and so the people’s preferences. Customers, nowadays, are looking for a premium handset but with a lower price. That makes the Chinese Smartphone become very popular in this year of 2017.
