Everything we know about the upcoming Google I/O conference
Googles annual I/O conference is just around the corner and everyone is excited to hear about the latest news from tech giant Google. In past years google has announced new technological advances such as it’s new VR platform, various messaging apps that it offers and new android gear. We’ve all used a google product at least once and it’s always nice to see what one of the leaders in the technology sphere has up it’s sleeve next. Luckily for you, we’ve gained access to some exclusive new detailing what may be revealed at this year’s conference(Google 2017 io conference).
One of the first notable releases that we may see at this year’s upcoming I/O conference is that of new Android wear software. At last year’s conference, google announced the release of it’s Android Wear 2.0 software although the actual public release didn’t happen until February of this year. Rumors seem to be pointing to some possible new additions to the already released software although we will just have to wait and see what happens.
Google VR and AR Releases (Google 2017 io conference)
One thing that we will not be surprised about seeing at this year’s Google I/O Conference is that of some new VR and AR equipment and features. Last year Google released its view VR headset which utilizes the Daydream platform. Being that the device was released just last year we can be pretty certain that they will announce some new releases and updates to complement their every growing VR ecosystem.
AR is slowly making its way into the mainstream spotlight which is really interesting given that it seems to have been uncharted territory for quite a long time. Google’s AR platform Tango was recently integrated with VR technology so it should be interesting to see what this means for the future. With all of the latest developments concerning virtual reality and augmented reality we are really excited to see what kind of games and other experiences will be the first to capture the imagination of the people.
New Android Updates and Releases
By now Google is synonymous with Android devices and software, we all get excited when we hear news about the latest updates to Android’s operating set-up and what type of fun new exciting features we will get the chance to use. We have some information about a possible reveal of a new Android OS coming up at this year’s conference which will be Android 8.0.
In year’s(Google 2017 io conference ) past we’ve been introduced to several great operating systems which make using out Android phones exciting and refreshing, it will be nice to see Google release the newest version of their operating system and what it has in store for us at this year’s conference. Many people have speculated that at this year’s conference we will see the introduction of some new features to the Android operating system such as improvements in battery life, notifications changes, different settings options and PIP functionality.
Google AI and Home Smart Speaker
Google released it’s first smart speaker at previous I/O conferences which took consumers by storm and gave Amazon’s Alexa some competition. While the device is fairly new it wouldn’t surprise us if at this year’s conference we see some new updates to the platform including software features and more interconnectivity compatibility with different devices. The voice-operated smart speaker has proven to be a hit with many people so we are sure that Google will want to capitalize off of this steam going forward into this year’s conference.
Google Assistant which is basically voice AI has been used to control various smartphone devices and personal electronics. Over at Google they are always sending updates to the software and increasing the amount of functionality that is has. We wouldn’t be surprised at all if we see new updates coming to the Google Assistance platform at this year’s I/O conference so stay tuned for more updates.
