iPhone 8 New Designed:An Edge-To-Edge Display & Replaced Touch ID

Apple accidentally leaked its third iPhone’s line model design (iPhone 8). Unlike a number of dummy units, which have surfaced in recent months, the latest iPhone model is highly detailed, constructed with premium materials and operational power, volume, and even mute buttons.

Tech enthusiasts refer this mobile as iPhone 8, but others called this handset iPhone X, iPhone Pro, iPhone Edition (or iPhone Anniversary Edition), or just iPhone. We don’t know for sure yet what Apple will call this device, however, we know that this gadget has the code ‘D22’ and may have been nicknamed as ‘Ferrari’. Does the nickname indicate the phone’s status in the lineup that as fast as the lustful sports car, but not all can afford it? We may have to wait and see. For now, let’s see the leaked design model.

iPhone 8 leaked design

From the Apple’s finalized iPhone 8 prototype design, we can see directly that the latest iPhone will be slightly bigger than its predecessor, the iPhone 7, but noticeably smaller compared to the iPhone 7S. Overall, the size is perfectly fit in one hand just like Samsung Galaxy S8’s slim bezel-less model

iPhone 8

The image above shows that iPhone 8 might measure a 5.8-inch edge-to-edge display screen, similar to Samsung Galaxy S8’s infinity display. That means iPhone 8 has no physical Home button and embedded Touch ID fingerprint scanner.

Without the physical Home button, Apple most likely will house a virtual Home button just as the previous leak mentioned. You can see the clearer image below.

This raised arguments, though, about how Apple will design its front facing camera and sensors that usually housed in the top bezel of the model. We have to wait for that, but probably Apple will change them into an app feature or it can be placed in the straight horizontal virtual extra content space along the top bezel.

Another picture that shows the back of the phone, clearly reveals the rear dual cameras that align vertically as widely tipped. The design will be an aid to the augmented reality, which frequently viewed in landscape.

iPhone 8 will also have the fast charging feature along with the wireless charging. It’s good to note, however, that the latter will be a pricey optional bonus. The headphone jack, sadly, won’t be returning.

There’s a rumor about how Apple tries a risky move by replacing the Touch ID in the iPhone 8 with ‘Face ID’ or facial recognition security. Apple explained that the latter is faster and more secure than the former. It’s not clear yet how this feature will work, but if Apple really applied this method, pass codes are still available.

The previous leak revealed that iPhone 8 would be all-glass design and the camera system will include OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) for both camera lenses set up in the back. It’s also expected that iPhone 8 will later be shipped with True Tone, a technology that Apple debuted with its 9.7-inch iPad Pro, and ProMotion, which launched this year with the 10.5-inch iPad Pro. We also know that iPhone 8 will have three-color options of gold, black, and silver as shown in the picture below.

Conclusion

Apple, so far, hasn’t given any specific date yet about when it will release its new phone model, however, many believe that the company will launch the iPhone 8 release date in September. This speculation is taken from Apple’s statement to investors that it expects to see somewhere between $49 billion and $52 billion in revenue next quarter.

Apple apparently tries to take the crown away from Samsung Galaxy S8 and seeing the overhaul of the iPhone 8, the company might seize the top place for sure from Samsung. The latest iPhone is Apple’s big move, designed to be a home run.
