Lava’s 2-Year Warranty Best Deal: A Good Time to Purchase Lava A97 2GB+

The India Smartphone manufacturer, Lava has announced its best deal ever, the 2-year warranty for all its major models, including Smartphones and feature phones. It’s also good to note that this warranty will be applied to all future purchased.

2-year warranty details

Revealing its plan further, Lava states that the warranty immediately actives starting on August 26. This means that all gadgets that are bought on the day or later, will automatically get the 2-year warranty deal.

This is a very good and rare deal because electronic gadgets like mobile phones usually have 6 months warranty for the accessories and a year for the touch sensitivity of the screen.  You can see which Android handsets are covered by this warranty on Lava official website.

There are plenty of recent Lava mobiles included in the 2-year warranty. If you’re looking for a budget phone, you can try Lava. The India tech company just released its new phone model, the A97 2GB+, back in June. That gadget is also included in the deal. Just scroll the page if you want to see Lava A97 2GB+ specs.

Lava A97 2GB+

Lava A97 2GB+ specification

The India Smartphone manufacturer’s latest build measures a 5.0-inch IPS LCD display screen with 480 x 854 pixels with 196ppi. It will be pre-installed on Android 7.0 Nougat Operating System, meaning you still have the chance to receive the latest Android OS via OTA.

Lava A97 2GB+ uses Spreadtrum SC9832 chipset coupled with 2GB of RAM. For the CPU, this Android handset employs Quad-core 1.3GHz, whereas the GPU sports the Mali-400.

In term of internal storage, this build model only has one variant of 16GB of in-built memory, which can be expanded via microSD (up to 32GB). A97 2GB+ Smartphone boasts dual cameras of an 8MP primary lens and a 5MP secondary camera. Both cameras have LED flash and only the main that has the autofocus.

The camera doesn’t have any OIS and laser & phase detection autofocus features. There won’t be any fingerprint scanner either, let alone an AI.

Other features like Geo-tagging, HDR, and panorama are also available. You can record video of 720p at 30FPS. This device’s body design didn’t apply the thin bezel system so it will be thicker than recent phones sold on the Android market now.

Lava A97 2GB+ has a Li-lon 2,350 mAh battery capacity, however, we don’t know whether it’s removable or not. It comes with three different colors of gold, silver, and blue.

It costs around 7700 INR (India Rupee) or about $120. Although the device doesn’t offer much, still, it’s not that bad, especially when you’re looking for a budget phone. Nevertheless, we suggest you looking for other brands that also offer a budget phone. You can read our article about that here.

In the end, buy a phone that you really like and need. It would be better for you to save up your money and buy the premium handset instead. We don’t recommend budget mobiles too much because the specs that you get mostly are disappointing. Then again, it’s normal because you can’t expect to get a premium quality with a cheap price.
