If you fulfill Lazada’s return policy requirement, you can get your refund. First, let’s see the reasons that Lazada accept before approving your refund.
Reasons to return product
You have to know that Lazada Group won’t allow you to return an item just because you feel bored with it and want to try other products. Goods that are defective, damaged, and wrong are possible to be returned. You can see the screenshot below for more reasons to send back your purchased thing to Lazada.
What if you receive an incomplete item? Do you need to return it immediately and asking for a refund? Well, not necessary. If what’s missing from your package is just a gift or freebie, you can contact Lazada Customer Service. However, if what’s missing is part of your order, you can send back the parcel to Lazada completed with its sales invoice and original packaging.
The same goes for any damaged or defective items that you received. How about if you get your goods safely (no damaged) but it’s the wrong item? You can also return it to Lazada, and it will ship the correct product to you
Note: Please remember that returned goods need to be sent back with its sales invoice and original packaging. Failed to do so, Lazada Group won’t approve your refund. One more thing, items like underwear, swimsuit, etc, can’t be returned no matter what for hygiene reason.
How to return an item
After checking whether or not your item meets the requirements of Lazada’s return policy, you can return the product via Lazada online return form. That form is only available within 7-14 days from the time your product is shipped.
That also means that you can’t return any goods after 7 days for products with 100% buyer protection and 14 days for items under satisfaction guaranteed. An item that has the manufacturer’s warranty doesn’t follow that return policy.
All you need to do is to contact the producer directly to organize your guarantee claim. Any information about the manufacturer can be found on the warranty card inside your package.
Alright! To fill the online form, you need to do is log in to your account and choose “Go to My order” then click “Return”. Fill the Lazada online return form and make sure to check the entered information one more time before submitting it. You can always print this form if you want to.
Next, you need to pack the items with its original packaging and please also attach the return label and the sales invoice. After that, you need to send it to any LBC branch nearest to your area. See the screenshot below “Note” for a better picture.
Note: If you’re unable to print the return label, please write down your RA code and Order number on the box or packaging you will use to send the item. Without those two codes, Lazada will automatically decline and return the item back to you. Remember! Do not write anything in the original packaging!
Lazada Refund lead time
If your returned product is accepted, you will receive your substitute soon. If you want to know if replacement is in the process, you can check your email. Lazada online shop will send you a notification stating that it is preparing the alternative product for your order. The email will also include a new order number that you can use to track the substitute item via Lazada order status tracking page.
If you ask for a refund, Lazada offers several ways for you to choose based on the payment method that you used at the time of purchase. As always, Lazada online shopping will notify you once your refund has been initiated.
