Realizing the bezel-less Smartphone hype in the Android market, the Chinese Smartphone manufacturer, Leagoo just released its newest product, Leagoo KIICAA Mix several days ago. This mobile, internally, is like a high-end mobile but has the price tag of a mid-range device. Let’s see below the full specification of Leagoo KIICAA Mix.
Leagoo KIICAA Mix Specification and features
To stay in the severe competition of mobiles in China, Leagoo has to give its A-game. This is the reason why its latest Smartphone will mark a small revolution in certain aspects, especially in the body design, camera, and price tag.
• Design and materials
Leagoo KIICAA Mix has only one color option (black) for now. You can see from the picture below that the mobile has a slim bezel-less body design, almost like Samsung’s infinity display. Moreover, the outer design also looks simple yet beautiful.
• Display screen
Measuring a 5.5-inch LCD IPS with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels 401ppi, Leagoo’s latest Android handset more or less looks like other phones. The device boasts 2.5D curved glass screen that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The display panel also supports multitouch, scratch resistant, capacitive, and GFF full lamination.
• Performance and hardware
For the processor, Leagoo KIICAA Mix employs Octa-Core MediaTek MT6750T and 4x 1.5 GHz ARM-A53 Cortex - 4x 1.0 GHz ARM-A53 Cortex for the CPU. As for the graphic, this phone sports ARM Mali-T860 MP2 GPU.
Just like recent Smartphone, this device has a 3GB or RAM and 32GB internal storage, which supports expansion via microSD. This Android handset also carries a fingerprint sensor right on the front. Other features like accelerometer, compass, light sensor, and proximity are also available.
Unfortunately, there is no notification LED trait in this device. Leagoo KIICAA Mix software uses Android 7.0 Nougat Operating System out of the box and carries a non-removable Li-lon 3,000mAh battery capacity.
• Camera and video
Leagoo KIICAA Mix brings in an equal dual sensor camera, featuring a 13MP f/2.0 aperture for both rear and selfie cam, respectively. The type of camera used for this Smartphone is CMOS with Omnivision Unknown sensor completed with a dual LED flash. Too bad, that the camera system doesn’t have OIS and slow motion video traits.
Even with the absence of Optical Stabilization and slow motion video, other features like autofocus, face detection, geotagging, HDR, and panorama are still around. It’s good to note that this device supports continuous shooting like in iPhone and has digital zooming like Samsung Galaxy Note 8.
If you’re a photographer, you can also use the ISO setting to do a manual photo shoot and use the white balanced setting to set the brightness. For those who claimed themselves as selfie lovers, you can try the touch focus, self-timer, and scene mode to create a good image. This Android handset can record a video, but only at 30fps.
This Android handset supports 4G LTE (1800, 2100, 2600, 800, 850, 900 MHz), 3G (1900, 2100, 850, 900 MHz), and 2G (1800, 1900, 850, 900 MHz). For the SIM card, it uses Nano SIM. You can get the Nano SIM by cutting the MicroSIM.
For the Wi-Fi bands, just like recent Smartphones, it has the standard 802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11n and has Wi-Fi hotspot feature. Leagoo KIICAA Mix has the Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity and A2DP.
Security features like GPS, GLONASS, and A-GPS are also included, but a fast charging feature isn’t available. There’s no audio jack, too, only radio and tethering are still employed.
Leagoo KIICAA Mix has three different versions of the all-screen (75%) phones with the price of $89.99. It is very affordable, especially with a high-end Smartphone’s hardware and performance.
