Oppo is undoubtedly the number one smartphone manufacturer in India after beating the Huawei, one t plus and other brands. It has made a point when it comes to the cameras. After launching the 5x smartphone photography technology at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) early this year, it has launched another flagship the Oppo f3 plus on 1st April. Selfie fanatics will be excited about it. This smartphone does not have the normal camera. I would call it a triple camera it has two selfie cameras and a rear camera. Oppo is always trying to give consumers great camera experience, and with this new masterpiece, I think they have nailed it. I know some brands like Vivo V5 Plus. Have already adopted the dual selfie camera but common this is Oppo we are talking about.
It comes with an Android 6.0 marshmallow to run it.However, this operating system is a little bit old it would have been better to go with the nougat which is the most recent. The Oppo F3 Plus powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor octa-core clocking at 1.95GHz. Octa-core (1.95 GHz, Quad core, Cortex A72 + 1.44 GHz, Quad core, Cortex A53. The combination of cortex A53 and cortex A72 gives the phone the ability to attain maximum performance. According toARM, “The Cortex™-A72 delivers 3.5x the sustained performance in the smartphone power envelope over 2014 28nm Cortex™-A15 processor designs. The processor features several major micro-architectural improvements which build on the current generation of ARMv8-A cores.” An average SOC runs a 1.5 GHz so I would say it’s quite fast.
And it comes with 4GB RAM. The phone packs 64GB of internal capacity that can be expanded up to 256GB via a micro SD card. You all get your apps running smoothly, no lagging experienced. The storage is more than enough.
The Oppo F3 Plus has the same design as the other members of the F series. Oppo F3 Plus looks great and has a metal unibody design with a subtle metallic finish at the back. However they differ in size as the Oppo f3 plus sports a 6.0-inch screen with a 75.1% screen-to-body ratio. This is large enough to qualify for a phablet. Apparently, the screen is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The screen is also HD with an of 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution the handset measure 163.6 x 80.8 x 7.4 mm and weighs 185 g with the battery in.
Now back the highlight, we already that Oppo put two cameras for our selfies. We have a 16 MP for regular selfies and an 8MP camera with a 120-degree field of view for group selfies. Yes, you can totally take selfies with your entire squad without slitting anyone into halves. Who wouldn’t love that? There is also a rear camera which is as great it is 16MP and using Sony’s IMX 398 sensor. Oppo f3 plus is a full package great shots and super great selfies.
We cannot forget the battery that is powering this flagship as it is just as big. It’s a Non-removable Li-Ion 4000 mAh battery. The battery is fast charging and can last you a whole day o even two for a mild user.
For the connectivity, there is 3G, 4G, Bluetooth, etc.
Oppo f3 plus is one phone that is too close to perfection. Excellent camera, large battery, great design, big screen, the one feature that let it down is the old version operating system, and maybe they could have made it water and dust resistance, otherwise, it’s a great phone. You all be able to get it in two colors Black and Gold I would use it any day.
