All eyes are on Samsung Galaxy Note 8 as it will be released soon. The previous leaks suggested that Samsung’s latest note series would be massive, boasting a powerful hardware. Sadly, the outstanding performer will have to be balanced out with a hefty amount of price tag.
Just recently, the South Korean tech manufacturer has accidentally leaked this Smartphone on its official website, which directly removed not long after. However, a YouTuber Tim Schofield managed to see and verify the listing before it got taken down. Let’s see below what the verifications or changes are.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Infinity Display
Yep, after successfully employed the ‘Infinity Display’ to Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus, the South Korean tech manufacturer will one more time use it to its latest gadget, Samsung Galaxy Note 8. The huge Infinity Display will have an 18:5:9 aspect ratios, the same one with the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. You can see the leaked image below, showing the infinity display of this upcoming device.
Dual camera with 3x optical zoom
We have ever mentioned this before that Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will have dual camera sensors, including its features. You can read more detail about the camera system here.
The South Korean tech manufacturer decided to use its premium camera feature in this handset, which is good news. However, the company doesn’t have any intention to change the position of the lenses that still on the same spot, near the fingerprint reader.
Although Samsung has increased the distance of the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner from the back camera, there’s still chance for users to smudge their camera lenses whenever they want to open the device. Nevertheless, the company has also added a regular warning that owners need to clean their camera lens.
There’s another higher version dubbed as the ‘Emperor Edition’, which will quadruple the internal storage to 64GB and it still supports the expansion via microSD. However, make no mistake, that hefty amount of in-built memory will also have an expensive price.
You still remember the S8 Plus’ limited edition of 128GB internal storage that cost $1100? You can expect that the Galaxy Note 8 will be like that. Please note that besides its expensive price, there isn’t any guarantee that the ‘Emperor Edition’ will make it to the US region.
All other things like the stylus, battery upgrade, and the still-locked Bixby button are the same as the previous leaked mentioned. What caught the tech enthusiasts’ interest is its big size.
Samsung stated before that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will ‘do bigger things’. Apparently, this isn’t only about the mobile’s internal hardware or the display screen, but more to its actual size.
If you see the picture below, the South Korean Smartphone manufacturer’s statement does make sense. The size of Galaxy Note 8 will be bigger than the Galaxy S8 Plus, which is not surprising since it has a 6.2-inch display panel and it has to house the stylus, too.
‘Emperor Edition’ Pricing
The ‘Emperor Edition’ is said to be launched only in Asia region like in India. That’s very much possible since the S8 Plus’ limited edition 128GB was also released in that country.
There’s a chance that the price of the 64GB Samsung Galaxy Note 8 won’t have a high price tag. In the S8 Plus’ limited edition, the company raised both the internal storage and the RAM, but the Note 8, Samsung probably only adds the in-built memory capacity, saying that 6GB of RAM is enough for now.
