Both phones have a dual camera primary and secondary. They have a main camera of 23MP while they differ in the selfie camera with Sony Xperia XA1 ultra spotting a 16 MP while the XA1 packs an 8MP. It’s obvious that both phones have cameras that take very sharp photos although we are yet to test the cameras to see whether the Sony Xperia XA1 ultra takes better selfies. More features of the cameras include phase detection and laser autofocus, LED flash sensor size, geo-tagging, touch focus, face/smile detection, HDR and panorama.
A phone cannot work without a battery, the Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra is equipped with a 2700 mAh battery while the XA1 comes with a 2300mAh. Both batteries are inbuilt. It is logical that the XA1 Ultra has a bigger battery considering the big screen and ram it has to power.
When it comes to connectivity, they both support 2G, 3G and 4G.
I feel that both phones are great and buying either will be a good decision .They are very fast, and running application will be smoother regardless of the number of applications you are running at the same time. The camera is superb you will have breathtaking photos, and the storage is sufficient. However, the Xperia XA1 ultra a step ahead of the Xperia XA1.
