If you use a Smartphone, you can use the Google cardboard or Samsung’s Gear VR. Those two gadgets allow a Smartphone slotted into the headset and used it as the display with the content loaded on.

In terms of input tracking, you can try several variations to create the fully-immersive 3D world. It’s good to note that different gadgets use different components, ranging from sensors and LEDs to wireless controllers.

In the end, it depends on your personal taste to pick your own VR gadgets and its input tracking devices. For now, Virtual Reality is only limited to gaming, so we suggest you not to buy this handset just to follow the hype.

If you do decide to buy it, makes sure that you pick the right game genre since not all game supports or has VR function. For now, VR supports mostly the open-world game genre and best experienced when used to play survival horror game.
