ZTE Nubia Z17 mini, ZTE Nubia is set to introduce on April 06.

The Chinese multinational telecommunications equipment and systems company, the Zhongxing Telecommunication Equipment Corporation (ZTE) which is the fourth largest smartphone manufacturer, is set to unveil their newest smartphone in the Nubia series (ZTE Nubia Z17 mini) as they’ve already sending out invites for the launch of the said smartphone. The company, while mainly sells products under ZTE brand who had been made several smartphones and tablets, is also an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).

Last month, it was first reported that they will unveil a smartphone in a dual camera set up which is the first smartphone in the Nubia series while separate rumor stated that the new smartphone from ZTE will be the ZTE Nubia Z17 mini. Rumors and leaked information only got clearer as an invite was shared on Weibo by the Nubia brand that indicates a dual camera set up with two lens depicted while strongly suggesting that the smartphone will come with 64 GB of internal storage and powered by 3000 mAh of battery with quick charge 3.0 technology and in terms of the camera department it will come equipped with a dual 13 megapixel camera with Sony IMX258 sensors. It is expected to be released on March 21.

Just last week, the ZTE brand Nubia has begun mailing out the invites for the launch of their new smartphone in April 06 as the week prior, ZTE have already announced three new smartphones which are the Nubia M2, M2 Lite, and N2 while the highly anticipated ZTE Nubia Z17 mini is nowhere to be found which was earlier reported would be revealed on March 21, as it could be still a work in progress and was rumored to be launched, as TENAA has certified two new ZTE Nubia smartphones with model numbers NX569H and NX569J.

Based on the media invite sent out by Nubia to GSMArena, the smartphone will feature a dual camera like design with a red and green hue This only indicates a strong possibility that it will be a dual camera set up, as seen on the recently launched Nubia M2 in support of similar news that TENAA certified two smartphones with model numbers NX569H and NX569J last March 28. Based on GSMArena, the new smartphone that has a model number of NX569J is said to be equipped with a dual camera set up, with a rear fingerprint scanner in a unibody metal form, and it may be the same ZTE Nubia Z17 mini that was rumored before to sports a dual camera set up.

Earlier reports claimed that the ZTE brand Nubia will launch the ZTE Nubia Z1 mini on March 21, but the event didn’t happen, and there’s no any indication that even the shadow of Z17 mini was anywhere to be found, but instead the Nubia M2, M2 Lite, and N2 were the ones which were launched, without any clue about the ZTE Nubia Z1 mini.

If the report of TENAA certification is to be believed, the ZTE Nubia Z17 mini might be launched on April 06 sporting the specifications of a 5.2 inch full HD display in 1080 X 1920 pixels resolution, with an octa-core Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 652 or 653 processor supported by 4 GB of working memory where the graphics department will be handled by the Adreno 510 GPU. Other specifications indicated that it will have a hybrid dual SIM slot (Nano + Micro) where you can use the second slot for memory expansion through a micro SD card, and may still run in Android 6.0 Marshmallow with a Nubia UI 4.0 skin on top. It remains to be seen if the highly anticipated ZTE Nubia Z17 mini is the one to be unveiled on April 06, as ZTE Nubia joins the growing trend of a dual camera set up that is popularly available in the smartphone market today.
