Garmin VIRB Ultra 30 by BikeRadar Youtube review

Description: In terms of action cams, most people will choose GoPro. It’s the industries standard, they say. However, you can also consider this Garmin VIRB Ultra 30 for it has similar build quality to the GoPro, but much more features. The color quality that this action cam has is amazing. No over exposure, everything is balance and looks very nice. The OIS is also impressive although it will eat up your battery fast. You can also command the cam to start recording with your voice. It’s just sad that this action cam has a hefty price tag especially in the U.S.

Pros

  • Can film 4K @30FPS
  • Supports SmartWatch & Smartphone connect
  • In-built touch screen
  • Colors quality is more vibrant, balanced, and sharper compared to the GoPro
  • Has OIS (Optical Image Stabilization)
  • 3 video modes: slow-mo, time-lapse, expansive
  • Touch screen still function well even after the camera is put inside the protective case
  • Recognize voice command

Cons

  • Using stabilization will drain the battery faster
  • Expensive price ($400-$500)
