PowerVision PowerEgg by Tom’s Guide Youtube review

Description: If you’re wondering what’s a drone supposed to be like, then the PowerEgg is your answer. It has a futuristic look of an egg or looks more like a football. It’s foldable and is easy to pack up. You can control the drone by using not only a remote control but also a signal controller that looks more like a Nintendo Wii remote. What’s so awesome about this drone is the fact that the drone’s bottom legs will retract automatically when it reaches a certain height. The same goes with the landing. This is important so that the legs won’t be featured on the video recording.

  • Foldable
  • 4K UHD camera @30 FPS
  • Quite long flight time (up to 23 minutes)
  • Drone’s bottom legs automatically retracted when reaches certain height
  • Object Avoidance System
  • 2.4GHz transmitter
  • 3 axis gimbals for a steady aerial photo
  • Intelligent Flight Modes: Follow Me, Orbit, Waypoints

  • Pricey compared to the DJI Phantom series
  • Drone’s design might look ridiculous to some people
