The UMIDIGI Z2 was released in May, 2018 as the entry level device for the Z2 lineup. Inside of the box you’ll receive a Quick Start Guide, Power Adapter, SIM Tray Ejector, Headphone Jack Adapter, Type-C Cable, Screen Protector, Translucent Case, and the Z2 Device. The UMIDIGI Z2 is the base model device in the Z2 lineup however it still brings a lot to the table.

The Z2 comes with 6GB of 1600MHz RAM backed by 64GB of system storage, you can add a maximum of 256GB system storage with an external microSD card. The Z2 has an impressive 16MP+8MP rear camera system that has tons of features like face recognition, burst mode, panorama, dual-LED flash, low light enhancement, and a 5-element lens with a f/2.0 aperture.

The front facing camera system on the Z2 is a 16MP+8MP system with features like selfie countdown, face recognition, and a 5-element S5K3P8 lens. The cameras on the Z2 are capable of capturing 1080p or 720p HD video at 30fps, let’s look at the display on the Z2. The Z2 sports a 6.2” FHD+ Display that has a maximum resolution of 1080 x 2246 at 403 PPI.

The display comes equipped with several different options such as a reading mode and color temperature adjustment. The Z2 has a 3850mAh non-removable li-polymer battery that has fast charging capabilities with a total output of 18W. The Z2 comes equipped with a P-Sensor, L-Sensor, Gyroscope, Geomagnetic Sensor, and an Accelerometer.

Powering the Z2 device is a MTK Helio P23 4x Cortex-A53 2.0GHz 4x Cortex-A53 1.5GHz processing unit. The graphics on the Z2 are handled by an ARM Mail G71 MP2 700MHz GPU that is extremely powerful.

The operating system on the Z2 is stock Android 8.1, the phone also has Global Band Dual 4G VoLTE capabilities in addition to face unlock technology.
