The Blackview A30 was released in August 2018 as a mid-tier smartphone that offers reliability & productivity. Inside of the box you’ll receive: Blackview A30 handset, 2,500 mAh battery, user manual, warranty card, micro USB data cable, & power adapter. We’re going to take a more in-depth look at the A30 to decide if it’s the right device for you or not.

The A30 comes with 2GB of LPDDR3 533MHz RAM in addition to 16GB of internal ROM storage. Memory on the device can be expanded up to 32GB by way of a microSDHC, microSDXC, or microSD card. The device uses single channel memory & comes with the following sensors: proximity, accelerometer, & ambient light.

The A30 is powered by a MediaTek MT6580M SoC in combination with a quad-core 1.3GHz ARM Cortex-A7 32-bit CPU chip. The A30 features an ARM Mail-400 MP2 416MHz 2-core GPU unit that uses 28nm process technology. The A30 comes with a triple camera setup that uses one front lens & two rear-facing lenses.

The front-facing camera on the A30 uses a 5MP lens that comes with an f/2.8 aperture & face recognition. The rear-facing camera on the A30 uses a 8MP + 8MP lens that is capable of capturing photos in a max resolution of 3264 x 2448 pixels. The primary camera on the A30 comes with the following features: manual focus, digital zoom, HDR, ISO settings, optical zoom, self-timer, white balance settings, scene mode, autofocus, & more.

The A30 comes with a 5.5inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen that uses 16M colors and has a PPI rating of 228. For connectivity on the A30, you get the following capabilities: Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth v4.2, A-GPS, & GPS.

It runs on Android 8.1 supported by its quad-core 1.3 GHz processor and 2 GB of RAM. It also packs 16 GB of internal memory and has an available SD card slot. It lacks in features like a fingerprint scanner and NFC, but it does support fast charging, has a removable battery and has a 3.5mm headphone jack.
